Company History
History   1938 Wolstenholme Bronze Powders Ltd. was formed in Bolton UK.
    1947 Wolstenholme pioneered the development of bronze pigments for use in printing inks.
    1988 Wolstenholme Bronze Powders acquires Johnson & Bloy offset metallic ink business, bringing two disciplines of bronze powder manufacturing and metallic ink technology together for the first time. Wolstenholme now owns and promotes the world famous UNIPAK® brand.
    1996 Wolstenholme International Ltd. acquires Continental Dispersions Inc. in West Chicago, IL USA and enters into oil based carbon black dispersion manufacturing.
    1998
Wolstenholme acquires Abco Enterprises in Allegan, MI and moves into water based carbon black dispersion manufacturing.
    2006
Wolstenholme acquires global distribution rights to sell aluminum pellets for the plastics industry under the PELLEX™ brand name.
    2007 Wolstenholme International Ltd. sells its metallic ink and pigment business. Wolstenholme International Inc. in West Chicago IL USA continues to manufacture and sell carbon black dispersions, and remains a distributor of PELLEX™ aluminum pellets.
