In 1978, Continental Dispersions was founded in West Chicago, IL USA, and was built into a nationally recognized leader in high quality oil based carbon black dispersions. In 1996, Wolstenholme International Inc. acquired Continental Dispersions, and has continued to build upon the company's reputation as a premier manufacturer of high quality black dispersions. In 1998, Wolstenholme added to its expertise in black dispersions by acquiring Abco Industries, a company with a long-standing reputation as a producer of high quality water based black dispersions.
Today, Wolstenholme International Inc. maintains the high manufacturing quality of our oil based and water based carbon black dispersion products with a talented Technical Support team, extensive capabilities in our Quality Control and Research & Development labs, and an experienced Production team. Our customers are always our first priority, and we are committed to meeting our customers' expectations through the delivery of quality products and by bringing innovative new products to the market. We believe that only by listening to our customers and understanding their businessess and markets will we be able to continuously improve our own product and service offerings.
In addition, building upon Wolstenholme's history and expertise in the metallic ink and pigment industry, we are also a North American distributor of PELLEX™ aluminum pellets for the plastic colorant industry.
